Why Blog?

Him:  So we're now part of the blogging world and, I must say, excited to be here! As many of you know we were high school sweethearts- sickening, I know- and now have five beautiful daughters who we share our hearts with. Five Girls, you say? Yes, five, all girls, no boys, and no, we're not trying for a boy. We've been fielding these and many more questions for years now that range from, "how do you do it?" to "are you crazy?"


Now, we understand that five is a pretty big number. But we never thought we would be quite the spectacle that we typically are everywhere we go - especially considering all the large family reality shows that we've seen lately. But, nonetheless, the curiosity leads to all kinds of attention and usually we are wishing that we had a clever response.

Well, consider this our response. We're setting out on a path to share the successes and failures, the hard lessons and celebrations, to speak the truth about our life – not that we have all the answers, but we want to share our journey with family and friends and anyone else hoping, like us, to find direction and purpose.
